Though Ruth has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin E. Shepherd and Ruth E. Shepherd (Williams); and her siblings, Roy D. Shepherd of Townsend, Franklin A. Shepherd of Townsend, John R. Shepherd of Townsend and Grace S. Jones of Lunenburg.
She is survived by: her siblings, William Shepherd of Maine and Margaret A. "Peg" Fowler of Florida. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Anderson Funeral Home - Townsend (250 Main St, Townsend, MA 01469). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
