She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ignatius Wilson and Harriet Wilson; her husband Brian E Toland; her daughters, Pamela Steele (Andrew Steele) of Hanson, MA and Paula Covelli (John Covelli) of Naples, FL.; and her granddaughters, Meredith L. Steele, Julia M. Covelli and Amanda M. Covelli.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Ave, Boston, MA 02215, in memory of Vivien Toland to support cancer research and patient care.
