He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Shea and Mary Shea (Derwin); his son Richard Shea; and his siblings, Patricia McKenna, Barbara Wharton, William Shea, Edward Shea and Donald Shea.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Shea; his children, Patrick Shea of Brockton, Kimberly Shea and Joseph Shea of Pembroke; his sister Nancy Ferrera (Ralph) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, Patrick, Thomas and Joseph Shea; and his great grandchildren, Molly and Hayden Shea.
