He was predeceased by: his parents, Waino Wonkka and Helmi Wonkka (Pearl); and his brother Robert Waino Wonkka. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla; his children, Debra Palfrey, Karina Ryan, Bonnie Wonkka and Steven Wonkka (Kate); his grandchildren, Grampa, Papa, Adam Ryan (Vanessa), Eric Ryan (Erica Gornstein), Christopher Palfrey, Emily (Palfrey), Montgomery (Brian), Hannah (Palfrey), Chiert (Spencer), Julia Wonkka and Josh Wonkka; his great grandchildren, Azalea Ryan, Ella Gornstein Ryan, Lena, Jackson Montgomery, Naomi and Mea Palfrey; his brothers, Carl Ojala (Ginny) of Minnesota and Laurie; and also Mirva Palfrey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
