Marilyn A. McNamara Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marilyn A. McNamara of Pembroke, Massachusetts, born in Boston, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Marilyn may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Francis McNamara; and her sibling Thomas Casey. She is survived by: her children, Maryanne Curley (George) of Pembroke and John F. McNamara (Ellen Murphy) of Hollis, NH.; her brother Joseph Casey of Milford, NH; and her grandchildren, Kelleyanne Curley (Josh Fairley) of Malden, Peter Curley (Kathleen) of Abington and Timothy Curley (Hannah Baxter) of Whitman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home- Hanover (551 Washington St, Hanover, MA 02339). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Parish- St Mary's (392 Hanover St, Hanover, MA 02339). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Mt. Feake Cemetery (203 Prospect St, Waltham, MA 02453).
