He is survived by: his brother Vincent Hughes of Tennessee; his children, John Hughes of Texas, Joanne Empoliti of Pembroke, Martha Hughes of Texas, Julie Alizio of Berkley, Mary Lukason of Hopkinton and Gregory Hughes of Maine; his grandchildren, Maureen, Joanna, Kevin, Brian, Joseph, Shelby, Ryan, Hayden, Kanet, Dan, Sam, Kelly, Katie and Charlie; and his great grandchildren, Cassius, James, Liam, Eleanor, Wilder, Kade, Karson and Kinslee.
