He is survived by: his spouse Ruth Solomon (Polansky); his parent Katie Solomon (Kaplan); his son Dean Solomon (Gayle) of Swampscott; his grandchildren, Bonnie Solomon (Seth Kellogg) of Quincy, Ariela Solomon of Beverly and Joshua Solomon of Amherst; and his sister Dorothy Halperin of Boca Raton, FL..
