He was predeceased by: his parents, Erle Soper and Patience Soper (Flanagan); and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Ross and Elaine Thomas. He is survived by: his daughters, Holly Weinberg (Dan) of Reading and Meghan Bettencourt (Kevin) of Peabody; his wife Kitty (Walsh); his son Michael Jr. (Bridget) of Arnold, MD.; his grandchildren, Nicholas Soper, Jake, Estelle Weinberg, Mia, Keegan Bettencourt, Macy and Mocha; his siblings, Erle Soper (Lori) of Salem, Ann Alexion (George) of Waterboro, Betty Ryan (Michael) of Salem, James Soper (Donna) of Standish and William Soper of Gloucester; and his brothers-in-law, Dennis Ross and Bill Thomas. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
