He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas F. Varney and Jeanne M. Varney (Jagiello). He is survived by: his wife Khemira Varney (Khaing); his children, Alexander of Peabody and Allison Varney of Peabody; and his siblings, Marie Sherrick (Frederick) of Braintree, John R. Varney (Marilou) of Plymouth, Joanne Lapworth (Royce) of Plymouth and Janet Varney of Braintree. He is also survived by extended family included many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
