With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gertrude M. (Harkness) Modugno of Peabody, Massachusetts, born in Lynn, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 16, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Modugno; her parents, Gordon Harkness and Gertrude Harkness (Crossman); her son-in-law Bradley Hanson; and her grandchildren, Bradley Hanson, Jr., Nicholas Frontiero and Amanda Frontiero.
She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Hanson, Antonio Modugno (Barbara), Linda Frontiero (Thomas), Janice Hill (Donald), Maria Torrence (Scott), Valerie Cormier (Neil), Robert Modugno and Joy Tunstall (Ray); her brother Roland Harkness (Agnes); and her sister-in-law Mary Modugno. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren.
