It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther D. Davis of Peabody, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father John Madeiros; and her husband George A. Davis. She is survived by: her mother Josephine Madeiros; her children, Kathy Davis (Kevin Legrice) of Peabody and John Davis of Colorado; and her siblings, Ernest, Alfred and Eileen. She is also survived by four grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Esther's memory may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970, reflecting her lifelong love for animals.
