He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Chaput and Louise Chaput (Mazzone); and his son Daniel Chaput. He is survived by: his wife Bernadette (Weil); his sons, Brian Chaput (Lynette) of Winthrop and James Chaput (Jennifer O'Brien) of Peabody; his niece Cheryl (Mike Mellen) of Lynn; and his siblings, Fred Chaput and Dolly Chaput.
