She is survived by: her parents, Richard Luz, Sr. and Arlene Luz (Whitcomb) of Toms River, NJ; her husband Michael R. Bernard of Peabody; her children, James "Jim" Luz, Tracey Ann Hower, Melissa Kelly (Michael) and Amanda Bernard of Lawrence; her siblings, Darlene Lord (Kevin), Derrick Luz (Janice) and Darryl Luz (Iris); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn Lord, Carol Plante, Patricia Sarantis of Peabody and Nancy O'Connell (Daniel) of Wenham. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doreen's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
