She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Harris (Doucette) and Timothy Harris; her husband William A. Rice; her child Thomas J. Rice (Janice); and her siblings, Richard Harris, Barbara Holden and Pauline English.
She is survived by: her family Rummikub; her children, William A. Rice, Jr., Paula J. Marshall (Frank) and Kevin M. Rice; her grandchildren, Olivia Neumann (Christopher), Melony Rice, Julia Marshall (Justin Azulay), Victoria Rice and Andrew Marshall; her great grandchild William Neumann; and her sisters, Elizabeth Young and Ellen Richardson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Gately Funeral Home (79 W Foster St, Melrose, MA 02176). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Incarnation Church (425 Upham St, Melrose, MA 02176). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park (185 Lake St, Peabody, MA 01960).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Caring for a Cure for the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.
