He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Mattey and Mary Kalie Mattey; his brother Rev. Joseph J. Mattey; and his daughters, Cynthina Mattey and Sandra Jean Panuski.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Shupshinsky; his daughter Sheri; his son-in-law George McCracken of Peabody, MA; his daughter Lori; his son-in-law Dr. William Chromey of Florida; and his grandchildren, Weston, Conner McCracken, Lauryn, Kyle Chromey, Samantha and Michael Panuski.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Anthony of Padua Church (Corpus Christi Parish) (224 Memorial St, Exeter, PA 18643). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Slovak Cemetery.
