He was predeceased by: his mother Marlene Cave; and his grandparents, Henry, Erma Schoeneman, Purl and Beniece Cave.
He is survived by: his husband Will Shields of Peabody, MA; his father Wayne Cave of Cherokee, IA; and his cousins, Paula Burch, Peggy Rebhuhn, Loren Cove (Cave) and Eugene Schoeneman. He is also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law; other relatives and friends.
