Couto of Paxton, Massachusetts, born in West Warwick, Rhode Island, who passed away at the age of 94, on January 24, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Couto and Esther Couto (Brown); his daughter Carolyn Wood (Rita C.); and his siblings, James, Janie and Esther.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Heather L. Dyer (John) of Holden, Nathan S. Wood (Ali) of Hudson, NH and Ryan D. Wood (Molly) of Bethlehem, PA; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Paige Williams, Eamon and Neve Wood; his son-in-law David Wood of Jefferson; and his siblings, Marion Smith of Florida and Edward. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Out of love and consideration for Tom's family and those gathering, social distancing and facial masks are required. Interment will take place privately in the spring at Grove Cemetery in Holden.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Seabee Historical Foundation.
