He was predeceased by: his sister Carolyn Flynn. He is survived by: his sons, David Bannon (Joan) of Hopkinton, Jeffrey Bannon (Lynne) of Sutton and Mark Bannon (Lisa) of Braintree, VT; his siblings, Douglas Bannon (Kaye) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Jane Bates of Venice, FL.; his wife Shirley; and his grandchildren, Kristin, Annika, Keelin, Mallory, Matthew, Christopher and Jonathan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Columba Parish or to the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, 12 Judith Road, Worcester, MA 01602.
