With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linda M. (Fontaine) Barrett of Paxton, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Linda M. left this world on January 30, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William F. Barrett; her parents, Authur Fontaine and Florence Fontaine (DiPasquale); and her sister Catherine Boivin. She is survived by: her children, Robert L. Gentile (Ann-Marie) of Douglas, Brenda M. Gentile of Worcester and Brian M. Gentile (Adrienne) of Millbury; her stepchildren, Kerry J. Williams (Thomas) of Fargo, ND and William Barrett of North Carolina; and her siblings, Joann Trotto (Michael) of Worcester, MA, Mark Fontaine of Orange, MA, Doreen Alarie of Worcester, MA and Sherry Edmond-Belair of West Boylston. She is also survived by grandchildren; her eleven dear great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel (370 Plantation St, Worcester, MA 01605). A prayer was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
