He was predeceased by: his wife Julia Kiremitjian (Kazarian); his siblings, John, Errol Kiremit, Onnik Kiremitjian, Mariam Arslanyan and Cemile Altug; and his parents, Sukru Kiremit and Nadide Kiremit (Inceogluyan).
He is survived by: his children, David Kiremitjian and Sona Murphy (Richard) of Paxton; his brother Dogan Kiremit (Diane) of Irvine, CA; his grandchildren, Janel Powers (William) and Dean Murphy; and his great grandchild Emilia Powers. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
