She was predeceased by: her son Steven E. Hirvi; and her brothers, Pentti J., Pauli S. and Aake V. Rantala. She is survived by: her parents, Isakki Rantala and Lyyli Rantala (Kujala); her husband Henry E. Hirvi; her daughter Ann E. Gwyther (John) of Rutland; and her grandchildren, Lindsay E. Gwyther (Gil), Tracy A. Hookway (Steve) and Phil S. Gwyther (Rachel).
