He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Burgess and Effie Burgess (Knowles); his wife Florence M. Burgess (Manavian); his son George Burgess (Margaret); and also, Philip Burgess (Charlene) of Putney, VT and Steven Burgess (Lynn) of Paxton. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and three nieces.
