He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard King and Lillian King (Bresse); his wife Patricia L. (Gibbs); and his children, Debra Haggan and William C. King, Jr..

He is survived by: his son Kevin (Collen) of Yuma, AZ; and his brother Vernard King of Ludlow. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
