He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Murphy and Marie Murphy (O'Donnell); and his siblings, Francis Bryan of Weymouth, Robert of Kingston and Joanne Murphy.
He is survived by: his siblings, William Murphy (Susan) of Attleboro, Patricia, Barbara Prescott of Weymouth and Theresa Walsh. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
