With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roland J. Roy (Palmer, Massachusetts), born in Holyoke, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 5, 2018 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Henry Roy. He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Roy (Steele); his parent Lea Roy (Durand); his children, Ronald Roy of Auburn and Christine Coutu (William) of Palmer; his siblings, Roger Roy and Estelle Kleiner; and his sisters-in-law, Helen Roy and Dolores Roy.
He also leaves two cherished grandchildren, Daniel Roy and William Coutu; and two great grandchild, D.J. and Annabelle; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 p.m at the Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 North Main St. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Baystate Hospice.
