He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas McKee and Margaret McKee (Jenkinson); his wife Anita McKee (Godbout); and his siblings, Elizabeth Graveline, Martha Cole, William, Kendrick, Earl and Thomas McKee.

He is survived by: his children, Candice Swiatlowski (John) of Palmer, David McKee (Sandra) of Springfield and James McKee (Michael Riley) of Redondo Beach, CA; and his grandchildren, Michael, Mathew, Gregg, Steven, Stacey, Justin and Nicole. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members and friends.
