She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip R. Tait and Violet E. Tait (Anderson); her stepmother Edna Tait (Anderson); her siblings, Patricia Hanscom (Clinton) and David Tait III (Sandra); and her sons, Derek A. Mallalieu and Scott D. Mallalieu.
She is survived by: her sister Lillias Surprenant of Indiana; her former husband David H. Mallalieu of Springfield; her children, Patrick D. Mallalieu of Palmer, Stephanie M. Guyer (Stephen) of Hampden, Faith E. Reilly (Paul) of Athy, Ireland, Steven L. Mallalieu of East Longmeadow and Chantel M. Mallalieu of Palmer; her grandchildren, Derek, Reginald, Sean Mallalieu, Gavin, Justine Guyer, Emma, Kayla, Tia Reilly, Anthony and Madison Mallalieu; her nieces and nephews, Christopher Hanscom, Darlene Tait, David Tait IV and Cheyenne Camarillo; and her close friend Stephen Allen of Chicopee.
