It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie L. Rainville in Palmer, Massachusetts, born in Three Rivers, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 2, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Goddu and Dorothy Goddu (Costello); her husband George Rainville; her daughter-in-law Colleen Littlefield; and her sisters, Jean Riopel, Constance Dominguez and Pauline Livingston.

She is survived by: her sons, David Littlefield of Springfield, Raymond Littlefield of Springfield, Thomas Littlefield (Nancy) of Brooksville, FL and Steven Rainville (Jennifer Gelinas) of Three Rivers; and her brother Paul Goddu Jr. of Rockville, CT. She is also survived by several grand children great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society 171 Union St. Springfield, MA 01105.

“Aunt Marie was always very friendly and kind on her visits to us in Tucson, Arizona in the 1970s. She brought fun gifts from "back east" for her sister Connie (my mother), me, and my brothers. I added a photograph which is dated 1970: (left to right) Connie and Marie. Marie's big bag which says "Nogales" was a souvenir from a daytrip to Mexico.
