He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace A Chaiffre and Rosemary Chaiffre (Viner); and his son William M. Chaiffre. He is survived by: his children, Melissa A. Hibbard (Jack) of Pelham, Arthur G. Chaiffre of Palmer, Hunter A. Chaiffre (Gina Richards) of Palmer and Ryan M. Chaiffre of Palmer; his sister Judy Wilson (Gary) of Raleigh, NC; his friend William Mickle (Kathy) of Dalton; his granddaughters, Lauren Messer (Jae Zemianek), Jamie Farnum (David Farnum) and Amber Messer (Tyler Rogers); his great grandchildren, Forrest, Eleanor and Wilhelmina Farnum; his nieces, Karen Martello (Stan Martello) and Amanda White (Jeff White); and his godsons, Scott Campbell, Richard Campbell and William Mickle IV.
