He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward H. Sharlow and Jean M. Sharlow (Dionne); and his brother Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Judith Sharlow (Allen); his daughter Melissa Wenzel (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Phoebe, Stephanie and Devin. He is also survived by many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
