He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Bovat and Velma Bovat (Lafayette); his wife Sallymae Bovat; and his sisters, Shirley Paquette and Nancy Spindler.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Blair (Lyman), Sandra Bellmar (Robert) of Yarmouth Port, Steven Bovat (Sandra) of Sandwich and Tammy Lapierre (Fred King) of Worcester; and his stepsons, Wayne Schofield of Three Rivers, Troy Schofield of Three Rivers and Randy Schofield of Palmer. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
