Marie Stelmach Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marie Stelmach of Oxford, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie Stelmach to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucien J. Fournier and Imelda Olive Fournier (L'Homme); her former husband Raymond Stelmach; her daughter-in-law Jane Stelmach (Deveney); and also, Normand, Lucien, Gerard Fournier, Lucille Stelmach and Anne Levesque.

She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Smith of Montpelier, VT; her grandsons, Kenneth, Michael, Ezekiel and Jeremy Smith; her sons, Michael Stelmach (Suzanne) of Auburn and Webster; her grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Matthew and Rachel Stelmach (Matthew); her children, Sylvester Stelmach of Leicester and Kelley LaVergne (Thomas) of Charlton; her grandchildren, Thomas, Julie (Darling) and Em LaVergne; her children, Barbara Zabka (David) of Dudley and Thompson; her grandchildren, Madison (LaPointe) and Aaron Zabka; her son David Stelmach of Charlton; her grandchildren, Liam and Jizelle Stelmach; her son John Stelmach of Grafton; her grandsons, Jonathan, Mitchell Deveney and Mason Stelmach; her great grandchildren, Colin, Stella, Blake, Ryder, Jameson, Andy, Darla, Benjamin, Henry, Elodie and Hazel; and her brother George Fournier of California. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Notre Dame Church (446 Main St, Southbridge, MA 01550).
