He was predeceased by: his brother Paul M.; his sister-in-law Kathie Stewart (Kelley) of Uxbridge; his grandson Gracen Mateo; his niece Tina M. Stewart; and his parents, Charles C. Stewart and Doris A. Stewart (Hanlon).
He is survived by: his wife Thea A. Stewart (Sapino); his children, Kristina M. Mateo of Dorchester, Kevin M. Stewart (Kimberley) of Oxford, Jeffrey D. Stewart-Morales (Cesar) of Framingham and Jonathan P. Stewart of Thompson, CT; his siblings, Mary Ann McGuire (Michael) of Minnesota and James F. Stewart (Faith) of Shrewsbury; his sister-in-law Cheri Dunnigan (Timothy) of Naples, FL; and his grandchildren, Alexandra, Nicholas, Isabella, Misael, David, Kinslie, Sadie, Daniel, Nathan and William. He is also survived by several nieces and cousins.
