Frederick L. Schaffer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Frederick L. Schaffer of Oxford, Massachusetts, born in Worcester, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 31, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Frederick's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Frederick has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his wife Donna M. Schaffer (Rainville) of Oxford; his sisters, Brenda Collins and Marie Mulrain; and his parents, Frederick L. Schaffer and Edna Schaffer (Nideur).
He is survived by: his children, Laura L. Mrad of Oxford, Richard R. Schaffer of Florida and Phillip L. Schaffer of Mansfield; his grandchildren, Channing Schaffer, Catherine Schaffer and Raymond Schaffer; and his great grandchild Charlee Schaffer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Paradis-Givner Funeral Home (357 Main St, Oxford, MA 01540).
