He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren H. Mahota and Shirley A. Mahota Sr. (Bugbee). He is survived by: his children, Jessica A. Mahota (David Fiorentino) of Dudley, Rebecca A. Chamberlain (Timothy) of Oxford, Jarred J. Mahota of Oxford and Stephanie A. Mahota of Dudley; his former wife Colleen A. Mahota (Robert); his siblings, Warren H. Mahota Jr. (Karen) of Oxford and Lisa M. Pellerin (Richard) of Oxford; his grandchildren, Audri Chalifoux, Arianna Chamberlain, Nicholas Chamberlain and David Fiorentino; and his nieces and nephews, Meghan, Michael, Marrissa, Matthew, Jenna, Jordann and Ashley.
