It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara S. Day in Oxford, Massachusetts, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on October 23, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Barbara shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Barbara farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Smith and Ruth M. Smith (Munck). She is survived by: her son Justin A. Day (Heather) of Worcester; her brothers, Robert F. Smith Jr. (Doris) of West Haven, CT and Richard D. Smith of East Haven, CT; her stepbrother James Hennessey (Katherine) of Needham; and her nieces, Heather L. Smith of Milford, CT and Melissa Day (Nicholas McGray) of Knoxville, TN.
