He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Maritta, Franklyn Withers, Maude and Edward Herlihy; his brother Michael Herlihy; his stepfather Walter Rathbun; and his stepson Calum Rintoul.
He is survived by: his parents, Mary A. Rathbun (Withers) and James E. Herlihy; his wife Amy Rintoul; his children, Meghann Arnold (Jordan) of Otis and Taylor Herlihy (Taylor) of Adams; his stepson Stefan Rintoul of Otis; his granddaughter Charlotte Herlihy; his siblings, Kenneth, Kris Herlihy and Ashley Fagan (Scott); the mothers of children, Shirley Petithory and Crandall; and his friends, Tim Murphy, Greg Middleton, Anthony Clark, Tom Soules and Roger Meyer.
