We are sad to announce that on December 26, 2022, at the age of 91, Kathryn Monroe of Osterville, Massachusetts, born in Hyannis, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard B. Monroe Jr.; her parents, W. Nason Lewis and Maude Lewis (Kendrick); her son Robert B. Monroe of Texas City, TX; and her sisters, Cynthia Sawyer Engelen and Joanne Knight.
She is survived by: her children, Howard B. Monroe III (Fran) of Marstons Mills, Joanne Wastrom (Robert) of Orleans, Mark J. Monroe (Abera) of Sagamore, Marie Thomas (Peter) of Mashpee, Michael L. Monroe (Kate) of West Barnstable and Jon Monroe; and her siblings, Barbara Malcolm of Littleton, MA, Mary Procaccino of Venice, FL, Walter Lewis of Osterville and Sharon Wege of Stevensville, MD..
