It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Luella S. Kramer in Orleans, Massachusetts, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry F. Kramer; her brother Robert Swanson; and her parents, Helen Swanson and Arthur Swanson. She is survived by: her sons, Fred Kramer (Susan Kramer) of Plymouth, MA and Steve Kramer (Sharon Kramer) of Fieldbrook, CA; and her grandchildren, Lauren Maregni (Tom Maregni) of Duxbury, MA and Jeff Kramer (Chris Kramer) of Mooresville, N. C..
Consistent with her passion for philanthropy, Luella has donated her body to the UMass Medical School's Anatomical Gift program. Her surviving family members would request that in lieu of flowers, donations in her name be made to the Home for Little Wanderers, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, the American Diabetes Association, or a donation of their choosing in her memory.
