In the sacred silence of farewell, Adele Elizabeth is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Adele Elizabeth's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ameen Hamwey and Rose Hamwey; her son John Merritt; and her close friend Wilbur Morse Merritt. She is survived by: her daughter Marsha Merritt Shorthose; her grandchildren, Andrea and Geoff; her husband Wilbur; and her children-in-law, Paul and Patricia Merritt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children.
