He was predeceased by: his sister Diane Carter. He is survived by: his wife Therese Carter of Athol; his children, Steven R. Carter (Janet) of Peachtree, GA, Terri L. McGrath (Gary) of Orange and Lori Squalli Vreeland (Thomas) of Orange; his grandchild Sinead Carter; his great grandchild Ethan McGrath of Laconia, NH; and his brother James Carter (Phyllis) of Morgan, VT..
