He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Carl Rathburn and Helena Agnes Rathburn (Laffond); his siblings, Shirley Recos and David Rathburn; his sons, Daniel and Michael Rathburn; and his stepdaughter Tracy Cacciolfi Matthews.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Rathburn; his children, Judy (Larry Adams) of Wrentham, MA, Timothy (Karen Rathburn) of Milton, FL, Cynthia (Mike Grimard) of Erving, MA, John (Nancy Rathburn) of Athol, MA and Sandra Murcell (Topo Hakkinen) of Orange, MA; and his stepchildren, Mark (Lisa Cacciolfi) of Wareham, MA, George Groccia of Arizona, Scott Cacciolfi of Phillipston, MA and Michelle (Douglas Perusse) of Greenfield, MA. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Witty's Funeral Home (158 S Main St, Orange, MA 01364). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
