He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer I. Ledford and Edith M. Ledford (Melhorn); his wife Florence; his former wife Penny; his son Steven Daniel Ledford; his granddaughter Pamela Ledford (Perry); and his siblings, Frank Ledford and Mildred Ledford.

He is survived by: his children, Marcus Daniel Ledford (Lorraine), David Walter Ledford, Gerald Wayne Ledford (Luanne) and Sharon Marie Arsenault (Robert); and his brothers, Dennis Ledford and John Ledford. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.
