He is survived by: his wife Virginia Brodmerkle (Rutherford) of Oakham; his children, Alden Brodmerkle Jr. of New Braintree, Barbara Brodmerkle of New Mexico, Margaret Brodmerkle of Oakham and Richard Brodmerkle of Oakham; his grandchildren, Susanna, Kenneth, Joseph and John; and his great grandchildren, Octavia and Koen.
