With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth O. Schaffner of Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 30, 2021 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hugh Bonner and Nellie P. Bye; and her husband William Schaffner Jr. (Bill). She is survived by: her sons, Bruce Schaffner (Sue Angeley) of West Tisbury, Dan Schaffner of Oak Bluffs and Tom Schaffner (Jean Ann) of Pocasset, MA; her grandchildren, Brynn Schaffner of West Tisbury, Devin Schaffner (Kristina Alabado) of Saco, ME and Jesse Angeley (Elizabeth) of Burlington, MA; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte, Logan and Liliana.
