He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold and Katherine (Wholey); and his siblings, Paul G. and Catherine T.. He is survived by: his wife Lois J. (Whelan); his children, Marie F., Roxbury, Kathleen E. Tucker (Kenneth) of Norton and Alice J. Gillan (Allan) of Scituate; his grandchildren, Rev. Wallace Hurd (Alison), Michelle Tyer, Lisa Tucker, Katherine Drain (Stephen), Michael, Thomas and Margaret Gillan; and his great grandchildren, Ayden, Luke and Maeve.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Norwood Senior Center, 275 Prospect St, Norwood, MA 02062.
