He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis and Margaret (MacDonald); his former wife Joan (Gustafson); and his siblings, Terry and Mary Donohue.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Curley (Hayes); his stepchildren, David Curley (Janet) of Braintree, Susan Godfrey (Tim) of Plainville, Heather Feener (Matt) of Walpole, Christina Jewell of West Roxbury and Brian Jewell of Somerville; his siblings, Ann Reardon of Dorchester and Jack (Karen) of South Boston; and his grandchildren, Jason, Lauren Curley of Braintree, Meredith, Austin, Allie Feener of Walpole, Devlin and Fiona Jewell of West Roxbury. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
