He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara A. Westgate; and his parents, Vernon Westgate and Edith Westgate (Evans). He is survived by: his daughter Melinda Spindler (John) of Norwood; his grandsons, Jack and Nicholas Spindler of Norwood; and his brother Vance E. Westgate (Judith) of Pawtucket, RI.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
