The memory of Michael McDonough of Norwood, Massachusetts, who passed away on April 20, 2025 at the age of 63, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles McDonough and Phyllis McDonough (Condon); and his sister Faye McDonough of Norwood. He is survived by: his wife Barbara McDonough (Whelan) of Norwood; his children, Natalie, Michael, Brian and Allison; his siblings, Catherine (Joseph Hudson) of Barnstable, Charles (Joanne) of Hanson, Patrick (Susan) of Norwood, Joseph (Jeanmarie) of Norwood and David (Sandy) of Walpole; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Jean McDermott and Patricia McManus. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gillooly Funeral Home (126 Walpole St, Norwood, MA 02062). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Timothy's Church (650 Nichols St, Norwood, MA 02062).
