She is survived by: her former husband Gerhard Rudolph Sievers; her husband Frank Cooper; her son Mark Sievers; her daughter-in-law Christina Thomas Sievers; her grandchildren, William Gerhard Sievers (Sarah Tyler Sievers) and Suzanne Sievers Miers (Thomas Benjamin Miers); her great grandchildren, Karen Smith Sievers and Oscar Sievers; her stepson Steven Cooper (Andrea); her stepgranddaughters, Monica, Julia and Rebecca Cooper; her stepson Robert Cooper (Emily); her stepgrandson Mason Cooper; and her caregivers, Jacob Owens, Sharon Lamar, Betty Jones, Merikye Milton, Katrina McDaniel and Lakechia Lovell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joan Sievers Cooper died Saturday April 8, 2023 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Born January 31, 1933, in Wakefield, MA.
